ENGRAVING
Badge Works provides a number of engraving options and selects the most appropriate for the application you have chosen.
Laser etching/cutting: The latest tool of trade for Badge Works now allows for more flexibility and higher rate of production both which has cost benefits for the customer.
Pressure etching: This method doesn't rely on a computer controled device to function, allowing the operator greater flexability whilst giving vastly higher accuracy than hand engraving.
Rotary engraving: A process of a high speed cutter moving under instuction from specialised computer software. This is flat bed engravign meaning that there is a limitation on the height of material able to be engraved and it must be flat not curved. Hours can be spent instructing the computer in preparation for engraving jobs such as brass plaques.
Hand engraving: Usually reserved for small items such as gifts, this traditional process doesn't have such an exact finish as would computer engraving. There are no setup costs with this type of engraving but just an outside chance that we could slip and damage the object being engraved.
Badge Works can make your next commemorative or dedication plaque. Phone, email, or call into our shop where a friendly staff member will help you decide the best material and layout for your plaque.
